Country star Kane Brown leads nominees for CMT Music Awards

Nashville, Tennessee. Kane Brown is one of the nominees for the best country music videos of the year.

The top honor of video of the year and male video of the year were both nominated for One Mississippi by Brown.

Kelsea Ballerini, who co-hosted the show with Brown last year, is nominated for three awards, including video of the year.

Three nominees are Mickey Guyton, Breland and Cody Johnson.

The video of the year and collaborative video of the year nominations were given to Carrie's duet with Aldean, "If I Didn't Love You."

Guyton, Johnson, Taylor Swift with Chris Stapleton and Kacey Musgraves are some of the nominees for video of the year.

The online fan voting for the awards will run through April 11.

The show's nominees are heavy with genre-blending collaborations. Gladys Knight is nominated with Guyton and Breland for their version ofFriendship Train at last year's CMT Music Awards, as well as for a version of his rap classic.

Breland, the country star on the rise whose album arrives in June, has his first awards nominations, and he is up for three.
