Harvey Guill will be joining the cast as Nightwing, after it was announced that James Gunn will be playing himself on the upcoming third season of Harley Quinn.

It is the second DC project in a row for the What We Do in the Shadows fan favorite, and this Dick Grayson news comes after the announcement that he is also co-starring in the live-action Blue Beetle film. The actor is currently starring in the sci-fi movie Im Totally Fine and will also be playing a character in the animated film Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. What We Do in the Shadows, the fourth season of a vampire comedy, is on the way.

The highly anticipated third season of Harley Quinn will be broadcast on HBO Max from creators Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey. We are excited for a new Harley and Ivy story in the upcoming DC Pride anthology, which will be released May 31. There was a moment when fans of the series were alarmed that the show may not have made it back for more, but luckily a fun DC Fandome gag last year revealed that Harley and Ivy are still going strong. Guill will debut as Nightwing, and we are excited to see the Bat-fam expand. After Batman and the Caped Crusader split up, the character is known as Batman's former sidekick who abandons the Robin title. The voice of Batman is Diedrich Bader on the show.

The romantic duo realized they were soulmates on the run and left the chaos of the city behind. We can't wait to see how Nightwing will figure into what's next in the world of crime back home, and how their budding romance will play out against the chaos that is the world of crime.
