Orlovsky: Allen Robinson primes the Rams for another SB run (1:38)

The Rams signing Allen Robinson is a perfect fit for the organization.

The Los Angeles Rams and wide receiver Allen Robinson have agreed to a three-year, $45 million deal that includes $30 million guaranteed, according to a source.

The Rams did not reveal the financial terms of their contract with Robinson.

The Rams have money left over for Beckham and hope to re-sign him, according to sources.

Von Miller decided to sign with the Buffalo Bills instead of returning to the Rams.

Beckham might not be ready for the start of the 2022 season because of a knee injury he suffered in the Super Bowl. He caught five touchdown passes in eight regular-season games with the Rams. He had 48 catches for 593 yards in 12 games for the Rams. Beckham had 17 catches for 232 yards and no touchdown in six games before he was released by the Cleveland Browns.

The Chicago Bears placed the franchise tag on Robinson after he had back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in the previous two years. Robinson had one of the worst seasons of his career due to the sour relationship he had with the franchise.

He had 38 catches for 410 yards and one touchdown last season, and his targets were reduced from 9.4 per game in 2020 to 5.5 in 2021. Robinson voiced his frustration over his lack of utilization in Chicago in January.

Robinson was the first big-name receiver to hit free agency after the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears did not place a second franchise tag on him.

Robinson was one of the top free-agent acquisitions. Robinson signed a three-year, $42 million deal with the Bears in the middle of his three seasons there.

The receiver was drafted by Jacksonville in the second round. Robinson developed into a productive receiver despite dealing with a revolving door at quarterback throughout his career. During his last 1,000-yard season, the big-bodied receiver was a threat from the slot. In 2020, Chicago put Robinson in the slot on 29.6% of his snaps, which led to the receiver amassing 2.02 yards per route run.

Robinson has 6,409 yards and 40 touchdown in eight seasons.
