Someone got in Donald Trump's ear this week and convinced him to change his mind about Putin. It is a sad thing for the world. He has changed a lot.
Jimmy Kimmel cracked on his late-night show that he still has Kim Jong Un.
Then the comedian went after Trump's surrogate, who has credentials when it comes to politics.
She was on Fox News last night and she said that Joe Biden had kissed her on the butt. It seems like a low blow that there are many more worthwhile things to mock than her looks.
What I would love to know is what Joe Biden's platform is. What is his message to the American people? Donald Trump had to put an entire website together because we couldn't keep track of all of his accomplishments, what is his list of accomplishments that he can rattle off for Americans?
Why did he do it? I thought it was because he got kicked off all the other websites.
The Daily Beast reported that Joshua Macias, a right-wing activist who has embraced the lie that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump, appeared to be violating bail conditions.
The Daily Beast's reporting led to the decision by the district attorney's office to seek revocation of bail in the case that began with Macias. He is facing election interference and gun charges.
Macias was arrested by Philadelphia Police while carrying a.40 caliber handgun along with another member of Vets 4 Trump, who was carrying a 9mm handgun openly on his hip. Police searched the vehicle they were in after their arrest and found a rifle and bullets. One of the men had a permit to carry, but it wasn't valid in Pennsylvania.
The Philadelphia District Attorney's office alleges that the two intended to interfere with the vote canvass being conducted by the Philadelphia Board of Elections just as Joe Biden was about to claim the state and win the Electoral College. On December 5, 2020, Macias was released on bail, but a month later he spoke at the Freedom Rally in Washington, D.C.
There is no evidence that Macias and his co-conspirators entered the Capitol building.
Macias was the subject of a motion to be revoked based on his recent conduct. He was not denied bail at the time because of the increased bail conditions, which included restrictions on posting on social media or attending rallies.
The latest filing from the office of the district attorney states that Macias broke his bail conditions, including a March 8, 2022, video of the trucker protest outside of Washington, D.C.
Macias has a distinctive voice that can be heard throughout the video, and he self-identifies as J.M. Macias is posting to social media, but he is also posting a video of himself at a rally that is not allowed by his bail conditions.
The pattern of apparent resistance to his bail conditions was first uncovered by Kristofer Goldsmith, an innovation lab senior fellow at Human Rights First.
Macias was active on social media in recent weeks.
Today's filing shows the role that everyday Americans can play in working with the justice system to hold people accountable for trying to destroy the American Constitution.
William Brennan, Macias' lawyer, did not give a comment before the story was published. Attempts to reach Macias were unsuccessful.
