Several players on the New Orleans Saints' roster have their contracts restructured in order to clear salary-cap space.

Bradley Roby, Demario Davis, and Malcolm Jenkins restructured their contracts to give the Saints $29.9 million in space.

Saints brass had a second meeting with Watson on Wednesday night.

Since a grand jury declined to indict the quarterback, trade speculation has picked up steam.

Since the criminal case against him ended, four teams have been connected to him. The Atlanta Falcons are one of the others.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio said that the player is "incredibly torn" about which team he wants to play for after being "impressed" by all four clubs.

The Houston Texans already approved trade packages from the Saints, Carolinas and Cleveland before they met with the management from those teams.

The Saints need to make more moves if they want to acquire him. His cap hit for the next season is $40.4 million.

He hasn't played since Week 17 of the 2020 season. He was on the Texans 53-man roster last season, but they kept him inactive because of his trade holdout and legal issues.
