It's pretty cool that Qatar Airways is teaming up with Diptyque for its new kits.
It is common for airlines to collaborate with luxury brands for amenity kits, since they can offer something nice to their premium passengers, while luxury brands can get samples of their products out in front of people.
Airlines often switch the products in their kits because they are trying to elevate the experience, or because the contract with a particular company only lasts for so long. Qatar Airways is partnering with a French brand.
Premium passengers will receive gift boxes on flights to Doha. The new range of amenities includes gift boxes with Diptyque's signature branding and branded bags for male and female passengers.
You can expect these to include some products.
The only airline in the world with Diptyque kits is Qatar Airways. The airline has offered products from Diptyque before. The airline introduced a hand wash in premium cabins.
The current standard business class amenity kits are from BRIC and feature products from Castello Monte VIbiano Vecchio. I think this is an upgrade.
The new kits will be offered from the following destinations.
There isn't an airline in the world that is as committed to the little details of the premium traveler experience as Qatar Airways. The airline does a great job with this kind of stuff, from an amazing selection of coffee and alcohol, to reasonably priced high-speed wi-fi, pajamas, or amenity kits.
It's nice to see a brand like Diptyque rolling out kits for airlines.
What do you think about the new kits?
