Stein told Insider that his performance the day before was satire and meant to blur the lines of reality because people won't know if it's real or fake. I don't really want to kill Putin. I am a vegetarian. I think we need to have some diplomacy. He said that Lindsey Graham was on national TV talking about killing world leaders. That is not right. That is not diplomatic. Stein said he was trying to expose Graham for that. That is not how we should talk about each other. That was a disgrace. Stein works as a car dealer when he isn't doing comedy. He told Insider that he started attending city council meetings in March 2020. He said he initially spoke seriously at the meetings but felt that politicians were giving him weak responses similar to non-playable characters in video games. Stein wanted to highlight what is happening in Ukranian by doing something ridiculous so that people would find out more about Russia.
