West has been suspended from the social media network for 24 hours for violating its harassment policy.
West will not be able to post, comment or send direct messages for 24 hours.
A spokesman for Meta told CNBC that West violated the firm's policies on hate speech and harassment.
If West continues to offend in the future, further action could be taken against him.
A representative for West didn't respond to CNBC's request for comment.
Variety reported on Wednesday that West directed racial slurs at the host of The Daily Show in a post that has since been deleted.
The alleged slur came after Noah discussed an argument between West and Pete Davidson.
Kim filed for divorce from West a year ago. The couple has four children. Following the divorce, West publicly criticized the relationship between Kim and Davidson and asked her to return to him.
When CNBC asked when the suspension would be lifted, Meta did not reply immediately.
