CNBC reported that John Bernal, an employee of the company, was fired in February for posting shocking videos about the company.

Despite having no safety, Bernal still lost access to the self-driving software in his own vehicle.

The ousting raises more questions than answers.

It is well known that the company's Full Self-Driving software has a long way to go before it will allow the company's vehicles.

The company's controversial public alpha is still limited to a select group of people, and is being continuously reviewed by the company.

An autosteer feature that autonomously navigates a variety of complex environments is included in the optional $12,000 add-on.

Futurism has covered them on more than one occasion, and thebeta is still very much abeta. If left to its own devices, the software could easily lead to accidents.

One video shows Bernal's car not slowing down enough when a pedestrian crosses light rail tracks or when a truck is partially blocking the road.

The capability gaps have gotten a lot of attention from US regulators, who are now investigating the company's self-driving software.

There are a lot of unanswered questions about the sudden dismissal of Bernal. We don't know why he was fired.

According to CNBC, the company's social media policy states that it islies on the common sense and good judgement of its employees to engage in responsible social media activity.

He told the broadcaster that he was demonstrating end-user consumer products in his videos.

The report shows a lot about the culture and leadership of the company.

The ex-employee has been posting videos on YouTube since February of 2021, and had been working atTesla as a data annotation specialist since August of 2020, which raises another obvious question: what broke the camel?

We don't know if he was abusing his terms of service or exploiting his privileges as an employee. When looking at much of his content, it isn't obvious that he was an employee in the first place.

In the meantime, Bernal will probably have no issues testing the beta by driving vehicles other than his own. He is trying to make things right.

Bernal told CNBC that he still cares about vehicle safety and finding and fixing bugs.

There is a chance that Bernal could be snatched up by one of the many competitors.

The talent director of Ford responded to the ousting by saying there were several job openings to work on advanced driver-assistance systems.
