Report: Tom Brady, Tyrann Mathieu Squashed Super Bowl LV Beef After QB Apologized

If he signs with the Buccaneers, the free-agent safety will not have to worry about a feud with quarterback Tom Brady.

When Brady apologized to Mathieu via text message, it was the end of any disagreement between the two. They now have a great friendship.

The two exchanged words during the title game, and after the game, Brady called Mathieu something he wouldn't repeat.

There is a picture of himself and Todd Bowles with their children, which was included in a message from Mathieu. It is easy to think that there may have been some recruiting involved.

I don't know what the asking price is. It could be too high for a team that used three safeties. I know Tom loves to recruit and there is a real affection there.

As for the Super Bowl where there was seemingly an issue, there may have been some frustration on the part of Mathieu as Brady threw for 202 yards, three touchdown and zero turnovers while winning his seventh Super Bowl ring.
