Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network said that the Los Angeles Rams are working on re-signing Von Miller.
Rapoport noted that the Rams are convinced that he is headed back to the title.
There is still a lot of interest in Miller around the league, with the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns both rumored to be interested in the pass-rusher. Jeff Howe of The Athletic called it a competitive market.
After spending his entire career with the Denver Broncos, Miller was traded to Los Angeles in the middle of last year. He had five sacks in eight games for the Rams before they won the Super Bowl.
During the title run, Miller had four sacks in four games, giving him two rings in his career. He won the Super Bowl with the Broncos.
Miller is one of the most accomplished defensive players in the NFL today, leading all active players with 115.5 sacks. He has been named first-team All-Pro three times.
After missing all of 2020 with an injury, he returned to play at a high level in 2021.
It has made Miller a top target for teams in free agency, although he said he would give the Rams the first chance to re-sign him.
Miller told Anderson that he wants to figure it out with the Rams first and foremost.
As the Rams try to defend their title in 2022, a deal could help keep much of their defense intact.
