According to Jim Trotter of the NFL Network, Deshaun has expressed an interest in playing for the San Francisco 49ers.
The Niners are not pursuing a trade for the three-time Pro Bowler, according to Trotter.

The resolution of his criminal case has accelerated rumors that he is moving away from the Texans.
The 49ers would be an attractive landing spot.
The San Francisco 49ers made it to the Super Bowl in the past year. The team is expected to be in the title conversation again in 2022.
Kyle Shanahan has a reputation with quarterbacks. Ryan won an award when he was the Atlanta Falcons' offensive coach. He worked with the Washington Commanders to tailor the offense to help Robert Griffin III thrive as a first year player.
There is a chance of a partnership.
It might be difficult for San Francisco to put together a trade package.
The 49ers traded their first-round picks in each of the next two years to move up in the draft and eventually pick Trey Lance. If John Lynch wanted to get Watson, the first-round picks would be helpful.
Lance is the new franchise quarterback for the Texans. The 21-year-old's value only goes so far when he had a limited role as a rookies.
The Niners are not likely to be in the race.
