Creative director Alessandro Michele's eccentric flair has seeped into Gucci's DNA throughout all of the brand's ready-to-wear offerings, not the least of which being footwear. This holds true for one of the label's latest releases of its chunky Flashtrek sneaker, which has been splashed with yellow and neon green hues for an electrifying new colorway.

The shoe is crafted of leather, suede and technical canvas paneling on the upper, which features yellow underlays and murky green overlays that provide contrast. Perforated orange mesh is added to the ankle design for another layer of color, while the neon midsole takes centerstage as the brightest element to the shoe. The SEGA-like logo on the tongue and hiking-inspired lacing system round out the details.

Gucci's Flashtrek Mixed-Media Neon Lug-Sole Sneakers retail for $980 USD and are available now from retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman.

The Italian house has also ramped up its footwear range recently by unveiling the Ultrapace, which incorporates vintage design cues and luxe fabrications.
