Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked members of Congress to watch a video showing Ukrainian cities before and after Russia invaded their country.

Zelensky said to watch one video, a video of what the Russian troops did in our country. Please watch the video.

The two-minute video began with a bunch of peaceful scenes of children playing in various cities before moving to missile strikes on residential areas.

The clip moved between before and after images of the destruction left by Russia. First responders are trying to save people. Women and children are crying. There are bodies on the pavement. There were bodies dumped into a trench.

There was a message on the screen in the middle of the tragedy.

The video ended with a message to close the sky over Ukraine.

The United States and other NATO allies have resisted Zelensky's request for a no-fly zone.

Zelensky invoked the worst attacks on U.S. soil while pleading for more military assistance to fight back against Russia.

We need you to remember Pearl Harbor, the terrible morning of December 7, 1941, when your sky was black from the planes attacking you. Zelensky said, "Just remember, remember September the 11th, a terrible day in 2001, when evil tried to turn your cities, independent territories, into battlefields, when innocent people were attacked." Every day our country experiences the same thing.
