People can be so confident in their abilities even if they don't have the skills to do a task like landing a plane.

A group of people were enlisted for a psychological study. Half of the participants were asked to watch a silent video on the internet showing two pilots landing a plane in a mountainous area.
Imagine you are on a small plane, and the researchers gave you a hypothetical scenario. You are the only one left to land the plane after the pilot is no longer able to fly.
