As part of a sponsorship agreement with Spanish soccer club FC Barcelona, the stadium is being renamed to Spotify Camp Nou. The jerseys of both the men's and women's teams will feature the name of the streaming service for the next four seasons.

The deal needs to be approved by FC Barcelona's Extraordinary Delegate Members Assembly in a vote on April 3rd. FC Barcelona is in a huge amount of debt and tried to sell a stake in its media production division last year.

It is said that the deal is worth $310 million. It could have been worth more if the club had a higher percentage of fans who gave the club access to their personal information. According to the report, only a small percentage of the club's 350 million followers are registered.

Spotify wants to bring “the worlds of music and football together”

The worlds of music and football will come together in a way that will give a global stage to players and artists.

The in-stadium elements are being used to amplify artists and enable discovery. While viewers in Europe may see a message about one artist, TV viewers in India could be served a different and locally relevant message.

He said that the company will share more about the partnership later this year.
