The $700 million superyacht belonging to the Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich seems to be heading towards his other $600 million vessel in the Mediterranean Sea, according to ship- tracking data.

The Ionian Sea is a part of the Mediterranean that separates Greece and Italy.

The 533-foot superyacht Eclipse was just off the coast of Algeria on Tuesday, sailing east across the Mediterranean Sea. The ship, worth $700 million, has been in the Caribbean since February 21, according to the data.

Morning is when self-made millionaires make a lot of money.

According to data from MarineTraffic, the 480-foot vessel, which was off the eastern coast of Italy on Friday, was between the coasts of southeastern Italy and Albania on Tuesday. The website had a picture of Solaris moving south.

Some Russian billionaires, including Roman Abramovich, who have close ties to President Putin, are moving their private jets and boats in the wake of international sanctions. Their assets could be seized as part of measures aimed at the Russian elite.

The UK imposed sanctions on seven Russian billionaires on Thursday. They are barred from doing business with the country and their assets are frozen.

The European Union has announced similar sanctions. Spanish authorities said on Monday that they had seized a yacht that was linked to the CEO of the Russian state-owned defense conglomerate and a close ally of Putin.

There is no destination port listed on MarineTraffic.com for Eclipse or Solaris, so it is unclear where the superyachts will dock next. After being docked in a Spanish shipyard for repairs, it left last week.

On Monday, the same day that flight-tracking data indicated a private jet linked to him flew from Israel to Istanbul, it was reported that Abramovich was in a lounge at Ben Gurion Airport. It was not clear if he was on the plane.
