A Fox News cameraman and a Ukrainian journalist were killed in Ukraine on Monday when their vehicle came under fire, according to the network and Ukrainian authorities.

The cameraman, Pierre Zakrzewski, 55, and the Ukrainian journalist, Oleksandra Kuvshynova, 24, were traveling in the same vehicle as the Fox News correspondent Benjamin Hall, who was also injured in the attack. Mr. Hall was hospitalized in Ukranian, but Fox News did not give any further details about his condition.

Mr. Zakrzewski was a veteran reporter at Fox News. He was reporting for the network in Ukraine. Ms. Kuvshynova worked for Fox News.

Suzanne Scott, the chief executive of Fox News Media, wrote in a memo to the network's staff that it was a sad day.

Ms. Scott wrote that Pierre was a war zone photographer who covered nearly every international story for Fox News from Iraq to Afghanistan to Syria.

His talents were vast, and there wasn't a role that he didn't jump in to help with in the field. He was renowned for his bravery, professionalism and work ethic as a journalist, and he was profoundly committed to telling the story.
