Dan Biggar and Alun Wyn Jones will both make history in the final game of the Six Nations.

Jones will win his 150th Wales cap in his first game since October after recovering from a shoulder injury.

Biggar will become the seventh Welshman to win 100 caps when he does so.

Stephen Jones is the latest in a long line of people who have followed in the footsteps of Jones.

The side was defeated by France 13-9 last Friday.

The forwards who come in are Dewi Lake, Dillon Lewis, and last year's Lions captain Jones.

Liam Williams, Alex Cuthbert, Jonathan Davies, Tomos Williams, Ryan Elias, Tomas Francis and Will Rowlands are not in the starting side.

Milestone men

Six Nations 2022: Wales fly-half Dan Biggar hoping for 'special' day to mark 100th cap

Biggar will captain the team again and will be joined by scrum-half Davies.

In February, Biggar made his 100th appearance for Wales in a victory against Scotland.

Jones starts in the second row with Adam Beard, while Rowlands is on the bench.

For the second time in less than a year, the veteran lock has returned to action early.

He captained the Lions in their Test series against South Africa after overcoming a shoulder injury.

Jones had to have two operations on his shoulder after he injured it in the autumn Test against New Zealand.

He's going to win his 150th Wales cap with his 12 Lions Tests, and he's going to break his world appearance record.

Dan and Al have been huge players for Wales for many years.

With other players reaching 100 appearances, what an achievement that is and for Dan, he has been looking forward to this moment for a long time.

For him to achieve it with Al, who is also getting the milestone of 150 caps - which no other player has ever done - I think it is fitting for those two to share the day.

They have a lot of respect for each other and have played a lot of rugby together. They have given a lot for the game in Wales.

Backline reshuffle

After failing to score a try against France, Pivac has changed his backline with McNicholl replacing Liam Williams.

The Gloucester wing was left out of the starting side for the last two games as he was preferred to Cuthbert.

Owen Watkin and Halaholo are the new centre partnership, while Nick Tompkins is on the bench.

  • How high - or low - can Wales finish?
  • Who is the greatest Six Nations coach?

Lake will make his first start after four substitute appearances and will be joined by Lewis and Thomas in a new-look front-row.

The three back-row guys are the same.

Wales can finish third if they win a second game in a row, after victories against Scotland and England.

We made a few changes this week, according to Pivac.

There are some players we need to see and put in the matchday 23.

We chose a side that we think can get the job done. Clearly that is what we are here for.

There is an opportunity to move up that table, so we think this is an exciting team and one we are looking forward to seeing.

Wales: McNicholl, Watkin, Halaholo, Adams, Biggar, Thomas, Lake, Lewis, Beard, AW Jones, S Davies, Navidi, Faletau.

Replacements: Roberts, W Jones, L Brown, Rowlands, Moriarty, and Sheedy.
