Apple Releases iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4 With Face ID Mask Unlock, New Emoji, Universal Control, and More

The fourth major update to the iOS and iPadOS 15 operating systems was released today.

All eligible devices can download the updates for free in the Settings app. To access the new software, go to settings.

The option to use Face ID while wearing a mask is included in the latest version of the operating system.

The updates add 37 new emoji characters and they lay the groundwork for a new feature that will allow Apple Pay to be used on compatible phones. There are also updates to add custom domains to iCloud Mail on the device. The full release notes for the update can be found here.
