The Best Outstanding British Film award went to Kenneth Branaugh's Belfast, and Emma Watson presented it with a single sentence.
The host of the show said that the next person to present would be Emma watson.
As she stood in front of the podium, she said she was here for all of the witches.

A piece of legislation that will make it easier for trans people in Scotland to change the sex on their birth certificate has caused J.K. Rowling to be in the news recently. It was last week that Rowling mentioned the likely negative consequences of the legislation for women and girls, which renewed accusations of transphobia.
Several members of the Harry Potter cast issued public statements in response to a string of transphobic statements made by the author in 2020.
The author said that trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren't who they say they are.

I want my trans followers to know that I and so many other people around the world see you, respect you and love you for who you are.
