The book of a character?
Disney Plus has had a strange launch period, as it has had more or less been during the Pandemic, which has caused production problems all across the service.
In an earnings call, he said that Disney Plus is currently $8 a month, and that more content is coming, as well as higher prices.
On the call to investors, Chapek spoke.
Our own recognition that we needed to double our production output was a plus. We have less content than we want, because you put those two things together. Over the last few earnings calls, we have said that that will change in the second half of the year. One of our goals has been reached. One of the goals was to ensure that we had a new title every week.
We want to get to a steady-state by the year 2023, which is higher than we have right now. I think that will give us the incentive to increase that price/value relationship even higher and then have the flexibility to increase the price of our service if we so choose. It is all about content.

They will double content output so that they can justify higher prices. Competition is now $20 a month for its highest tier after a long-running string of price increases. There is a monthly fee for HBO Max. Disney wants Plus to move in that direction.
There is a chance that Disney is launching a cheaper tier, as it was reported a long time ago. It's possible that Disney Plus will go to $10, $12 or $15.
The ad-supported tier is supposed to arrive before the end of the year, but there is no exact time frame on when the price hike will happen. Disney's main goal is to make sure that adults are tuning in for more than just a single Star Wars show once a week, with weeks/month gaps between them. When prices go up, it's likely that we'll get a more steady flow of content.
