John Oliver, host of Last Week Tonight, has turned his attention to the issue of inflated ticket prices. Oliver ran through a number of issues with how concert tickets are sold and distributed.
He joked thatTicketmaster is one of the most hated companies on Earth and that AT&T also exists.
Oliver pointed out that artists often only release a small percentage of concert tickets to the public. The tickets are distributed in a number of different ways.
Oliver said that a group of tickets held for the tour ended up being released not to the box office, but to the secondary market. I will still show you that video of him falling down a hole again.
