There is some good comedy in this Saturday Night Live cold open, but you will forget about it once the man with the nipple arrives.

The sketch is based on a real meeting the White House had with TikTokinfluencers on Thursday in an effort to counter Russian misinformation on social media. SNL writers imagined what happened behind closed doors, and it was as deranged as you would expect.

I don't follow much on TikTok, so I probably missed a lot of references. There is a great moment with Kenan Thompson, who plays a roofer from Pittsburgh named Charles D&Amelio, a case of mistaken identity for a White House that meant to invite top TikTok to follow. Aidy Bryant is playing a makeup artist who is an alt-right wing nut. James Austin Johnson, as Biden, refers to himself at one point as "the landline of presidents".

The best part of the sketch is owned by the man. He shows up shirtless and has a plunger on one of his nipples, which I think is a reference to Japanese comedian Kazuhisa Uekasa who had a similar stunt. He has the most insightful comments of the entire sketch, but the camera can only focus on one thing. It's a good visual comedy for the TV audience.
