Traci Braxton Dead at 50 from Cancer

It is with the deepest regret that we inform you of the passing of our sister,Traci. She was a bright light, a wonderful daughter, an amazing sister, a loving mother, wife, grandmother and a respected performer. We will miss her.

The sister of a famous singer has died. It has been learned.

Kevin says "We have come to a time where we must inform the public that after a year of privately undergoing a series of treatment for Esophageal cancer our beloved Traci Braxton has gone on to glory."

When she passed, her sisters, mom and friends were by her side.

She was best known for her roles in "Sinners Wanted" and "There's a Stranger in my House." She recorded a song called "Broken Things" with her sisters.

As you know, she has famous sisters. They are Towanda, Tamar and Trina.

The family has been through a lot. Lauren Braxton died from a heroin and Fentanyl OD at the age of 24.

The last time we saw her, she was laughing and joking on the streets of NYC.

Kevin and Traci have a child.

She was 50 years old.

I am sad.
