During an appearance on Fox News Sunday, Sen. Jim Risch dismissed concerns about a full-scale war between Russia and NATO.

The host asked the ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee how to stop Putin without starting World War III.

I wouldn't call it World War III because you don't want to escalate to direct confrontation with Russia.

He said that it would end quickly because of the conventional forces that he had there.

Despite large advantages in manpower and weaponry, Russia's invasion of Ukraine has not progressed as quickly as many experts predicted.

According to The Week, Russia's performance in the war has degraded its military position in Europe, and it has the ability to compel with threats of force.

Putin has made threats. In his speech announcing the invasion of Ukraine, Putin threatened any country that attempted to intervene with consequences that were 888-282-0465 888-282-0465, which most observers interpreted as a reference to Russia's 6,000-war.

Some people don't take Putin's nuclear threats seriously.

No one will win a nuclear exchange. Lindsay Graham said during an appearance on Fox News that a general would shoot him if he ordered a strike on the United States. Graham once called for a Russian assassin to kill Putin.
