Russians are trying to sell McDonald's menu items online at inflated prices, following the closing of more than 800 restaurants in the country.

Big Macs and McMuffins were included in multiple listings on the Russian classified-ads website. The second-biggest site in the world is called Avito, which is the most popular classified site in Russia.

A seller in Moscow advertised a Big Mac for $36. The Big Mac would cost 135 roubles in Russia, or $1, according to The Economist.

A seller recently posted Mcdonalds breakfast items, including McMuffins, potato pancakes, and sauces, for $18.

The seller said they were offering the items to those who wanted to enjoy the last taste of a bygone era.

There is nothing off-limits, with some people even attempting to sell Mcdonald's packages. It is not known if the bag contained anything.

The citizens of Russia reacted strongly to the closing of McDonald's branches in the country. Moscow residents rushed to stores to grab meals before the closing.

According to the Indy 100, a Russian filled his fridge with McDonald's burgers before the store closes.

Chris Kempczinski, the CEO of McDonald's, told employees in a memo on March 8 that it was impossible to predict when the restaurants would reopen.
