The war between Russia and Ukraine should prompt action from the US in regards to the future of the space industry, according to an American astronaut.

She has spent more cumulative time in space than any woman in the world, and she is the commander of the Axiom Space mission to the International Space Station.

In an exclusive interview with Insider, she spoke about the US reliance on Russian engines. I think that would be good for us.

In her interview with Insider, she said that Musk has a very successful system, but more are needed.
