Patrick and Brittany are married. Matthews and the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback were married on Saturday.
They met as students at Whitehouse High School and have been dating ever since. While Matthews played soccer at the University of Texas at Tyler, the couple stayed together as he went to play college football and baseball at Texas Tech. The night he received his Super Bowl ring, Mahomes proposed to Matthews.
On a day that was supposed to celebrate you, you turned it into a celebration of us. Matthews wrote on her social media account that it was always you and me.
The couple announced they were expecting a child. The baby was born on Feb. 20, 2021.
Jackson was the best man in the ceremony. According to USA Today, several of the Chiefs teammates, including Kelce, Brown Jr., Mathieu, and Helaire, were in attendance at the ceremony.
Randi got emotional when she saw her son get married. Pat Mahomes was a former MLB pitcher.
