A Daytona Beach couple were found dead near their bicycles on Sunday after leaving Main Street and Bike Week activities. Police arrested a suspect on Friday. We know a lot about the crime. Macean was taken into custody about 11 a.m. Less than 24 hours after Daytona Beach Police offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the murderers of the Aultmans, he was outside his home on Pointe Vista Circle. Macean appeared in front of a judge in Florida on Friday and was charged with two counts of first-degree murder. The suspect was held without bail. Macean will be returned to Volusia County to await trial at some point. Young said that Macean was taken into custody with the help of the U.S. marshals. Police used video from nearby homes to try and identify a suspect in the hunt for a killer. Young said the person of interest had been seen in different areas of the city and police were interviewing everyone who had seen him. Young said that the suspect's genetic material was sent to a lab to be tested. Police said the motive was not clear. The initial investigation was into a motorcycle gang possibly being involved because the attack happened during the 10 days of Daytona Beach's larger annual motorcycle event, Bike Week.
