You can turn off autoplay on YouTube in just a few steps.

When you watch a video on YouTube, it will automatically queue up related content. It can be helpful if you want to watch more, but it can also suggest videos you don't want to watch.

The good news is that it is easy to turn off the autoplay feature.

Here is how to do it.

How to turn off autoplay in YouTube on mobile 

1. You can open a video on the video sharing site.

2. The video player has a switch at the top. The switch is in the right position when the game is playing. The switch is in the left position when the program is paused.

3. Click the switch to turn it off.

You can turn it off in the settings.

1. On the Home tab of the app, you can tap on your profile picture.

2. To turn off the feature, tap the autoplay switch to the off position.

How to turn off autoplay in YouTube on your computer

1. You can open a video on the internet.

2. The video player has a switch at the bottom. The switch is in the right position when the game is playing. The switch is in the left position when the program is paused.

3. Click on the switch to turn it off.

If you reach the end of a video and want to stop it from playing, click Cancel.
