Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson has completed his first two sessions of depositions as part of the 22 lawsuits filed against him.

His attorney,Rusty Hardin, had previously said that his client would assert his Fifth Amendment right to not incriminate himself during his testimony.

10 women have filed complaints with Houston police about the player. There are allegations of sexual assault, harassment, and other crimes against the women who have filed lawsuits.

While the depositions were taking place, a grand jury sat in a Houston courthouse to hear evidence about criminal complaints against him.

Last month, a judge ruled that the depositions of nine of the 22 women who are accusing him of sexual harassment could be delayed so that his legal team could get depositions from all of them.

The deposition was supposed to start as early as February 22.
