The parents of Gabby Petito are suing the parents of Brian Laundrie, the man who killed their daughter, for allegedly knowing more about her death than they have been told. According to the lawsuit, Chris and Roberta Laundrie were in the process of helping their son leave the country when he killed Gabby. The autopsy showed that she had suffered injuries to her head and neck, as well as additional details about her death. According to the lawsuit, Brian used the phone to send text messages, making it seem like she was still alive. In one of the texts that was sent to Schmidt, he referred to his grandfather by his real name, Stan, something she would never have done. According to the lawsuit, Brian was using the phone of murdered woman to communicate with him until at least August 30th, when there was poor cell service in the area. What is more? The day after her murder, Brian told his parents what had happened. The lawsuit claims that the Laundries contacted an attorney and hired him a few days later. The Laundries had a good relationship with the parents of Gabby, but as the situation got worse, Brian's mom blocked her cellphone and her account on Facebook. The doctors don't get into detail on how they read. Christopher and Roberta Laundrie were keeping the location of Brian Laundrie a secret, and it was believed that they were making arrangements for him to leave the country. The parents of Gabby are asking for an amount of damages.
