John Toshack: Former Real Madrid, Swansea and Wales manager out of Covid-19 intensive care

John Toshack is no longer in intensive care after contracting Covid-19.

The elderly man was hospitalized last month due to pneumonia brought on by the coronaviruses.

Toshack, who was the manager of Real Madrid twice, is breathing on his own.

He was able to speak to his family.

He played for both Cardiff City andSwansea.

In 40 games for Wales, Toshack scored 13 times and became the national team manager twice.

He has taken charge of more than a dozen clubs around the world, and he is best known for takingSwansea from the old Division Four to the First Division.

He was the manager of Tractor, a Persian Gulf Pro League side, for just three months.
