Poland remains safe destination, tourism chief assures agents

The Polish Tourism Organisation in the UK insists that the country is a safe place to visit as it takes in Ukrainian refugees.

The message came as the Polish government announced plans to set up a fund for those affected by the war in its neighbour country.

Thousands of refugees have been welcomed to Poland and across Europe after the invasion of Ukraine. Poland is a member of both the EU and NATO and visitors are encouraged to remember that.

Overseas travellers are invited to support the vital tourism industry which helps support the economy.

Tourist attractions are open and visitors can book hotels and accommodations.

The Polish government is doing everything it can to protect the nation and tourists.

We are hoping that the horrible situation in Ukraine will not deter British tourists from visiting Poland.
