The Telegram Messenger app has been updated with several new features, including a new download manager, a redesign of the attachment menu, and support for live streaming with third-party apps.

Telegram users are able to send files of any type up to 2GB each and access them from any device, with no limit on cloud storage, which has made downloads more popular on the platform.

When files are actively downloaded, a new icon appears in the Search bar that users can use to view and manage downloads, pause and resume them, or view them in a chat.

When sending multiple photos, the attachment menu has been completely changed. To see how the album will look in the chat when it is sent, users can tap the X number of items at the top of the panel.

The in-app camera option is integrated into the gallery in version 8.6 of Telegram, while a new navigation bar gives quick access to photos, files, location sharing, and more.

In the latest update, users can create a unique@username from the settings page, which will allow others to contact them via Search or their t.me/username link without sharing their phone number.

Telegram now supports the use of third-party streaming tools like XSplit to broadcast live video, allowing users to add a more professional look.

The web previews of t.me links have been updated with chat background and design elements from the Telegram Web client.

Telegram version 8.6 is available on the App Store.
