James Harden hit a step-back 3-pointer in the first quarter of the 76ers game against the Brooklyn Nets to move into third place on the NBA's all-time 3-point list.

James Harden has 2,561 3-pointers in his career, 412 behind Ray Allen for the second most in NBA history and 552 behind all-time leader Stephen Curry.

"there's a three and that makes @JHarden13 number three all-time in three-point shooting, passing @ReggieMillerTNT." https://t.co/BVWYjJ2e4L pic.twitter.com/sAjHnOBVWd

Harden said recently that it was a huge accomplishment to be third all time in NBA history. You have the best shooter that ever touched a basketball. From Reggie to Ray to Kyle Korver, those are some of the best basketball players we've ever seen.

I am fortunate to be on that list and I am blessed. I will do everything I can to try to catch Steph. It will be difficult, man.

Miller was in the building for the moment, calling the game, and was recognized by Wells Fargo Center's public address announcer, when he got up from his seat wearing a 76ers jersey honoring Harden for passing him on the list.

Since being traded to Philadelphia last month, the 76ers are 5-0 in games Harden and Embiid have played together, and Ben Simmons returned to Philadelphia for the first time since the trade.
