Maxx Crosby is a Pro Bowl defensive player for the Raiders. Frank Clark and Melvin Ingram III were two of the chiefs last year. Von Miller has been making noise about returning to the Mile High City after helping the Los Angeles Rams win the Super Bowl, as the Broncos counter with Bradley Chubb.

Is it possible to pair Mack with Joey Bosa? The next wave of signings could be at offensive tackle.

Mack and Bosa have ranked in the top four in total defensive pressures over the last five seasons. T.J. Watt, the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and Ngakoue both have 207 defensive pressures in that time.

Bosa has 47.5 sacks since the beginning of the year, which is one more than Mack, which is 10th most.

Mack and Bosa have 12 strip sacks each over the past five seasons, tied for sixth most in that time frame.

Mack, who just turned 31 on February 22, has slowed a tad since the Raiders traded him to the Bears.

He was limited to just six sacks in seven games last season before having foot surgery, and his effectiveness as a pass-rusher was down. His pass rush win rate has fallen from 21.2% in the year before to 18.6% in the year after that, to 17.6% in the year after that.

He came out of the gate with the Bears against the Green Bay Packers in the opening game of the season.

He finished with 12.5 sacks and was the runner-up for defensive player of the year to Donald, after dominating the Packers on national television to the tune of a strip-sack, a fumble recovery and a 27-yard pick-six in his Bears debut. He had a double-digit sack season in Chicago in the only year he had a double-digit sack season. According to the report, the Chargers will owe Mack over twenty million dollars in the next three years.

If the deal goes through, he will become the only former player to be traded twice for first-team All-Pro honors.

He will get to face the Raiders twice a year. After firing Carr in Las Vegas, he probably threw up an "O" for Oakland.

Good for the Bolts initially, bad for the rest of the West.
