PS4 users can get three months of Apple TV Plus service at no charge

Sony is once again giving its console owners an extended free trial of Apple TV Plus. Apple TV Plus subscribers can redeem three months of service at no charge for owners of the last-gen PS4 console. It will be back to the usual $4.99 per month after that. The promo is similar to the one that was announced last summer, where the PS5 owners got six months of Apple TV Plus. There are two promo that are valid until July 22nd, 2022.

With PS5 shipments still plagued by shortages and slowing to a trickle after the holiday season, extending this offer to PS4 owners widens the pool of people who qualify. The install base of the PS4 is larger than that of the PS5 consoles. The PS5 is selling well despite the shortages, but not as well as the PS4 did at this point in its lifecycle.

It's a good time for PS4 owners to redeem their three-month window since this promo gives them nearly four months to do so.

You will need both accounts to redeem this offer. The Apple TV Plus app can be downloaded from the TV and Video section. If you log in to your Apple ID or create a new one, you will get three months of Apple TV Plus loaded onto your account as long as you are new to the service.
