The idea of using a wristwatch to simply tell time has long been gone with the rise of smartwatches. According to recent reports, the next iteration of theGalaxy Watch will be announced in August of this year.

According to a report, the successor to theGalaxy Watch will be launched this fall. While we have not seen any changes to the watch's design, the report tells us that there will be an IR temperature sensor in the future.

Extra heat generated by exercise and ambient temperature can affect skin sensors. It's not the first watch manufacturer to put a temperature sensor on our wrist, but it might be one of the most accurate by opting for the more accurate option. The prototype of the Galaxy Buds has an IR sensor as well.

It is possible to get a clearer picture of a person's overall health by monitoring their body temperature. This new feature could make the upcomingGalaxy Watch 5 even more impressive because it will have the BIA sensor. It will be interesting to see if there will be any changes to the watch in August.
