Musk promised to hook up Ukrainians with Starlink terminals so they could connect to the internet as Russian troops continued their invasion.

Ukrainian vice prime minister Mykhailo Fedorov posted a picture of a pallet of Starlink terminals inside a truck on Wednesday.

The internet broadband solution of the space company is intended to work even as the power grid in Ukraine suffers.

CNBC has obtained an email that states that the car company delivered large battery packs to power the Starlink terminals to Ukrainian employees.

The battery pack systems were put together in three days with AC cables made out of scrap from the company's Gigafactory in Berlin, according to an email.

Since the invasion began, Ukraine has received two shipments. After receiving the first shipment on February 28, Fedorov said that Starlink keeps our cities connected and emergency services savings lives.

It's not clear how many Starlink terminals have been delivered, but the number is in the hundreds.

The company is giving its employees in the country more money.

The company will maintain their employment and salary for employees who have been asked to return to Ukraine for active duty.
