Sony Interactive Entertainment, the arm of Sony that manages the popular PS3 console, has stopped all software and hardware shipments in Russia because of the country's invasion of Ukraine.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has suspended all software and hardware shipments in order to call for peace in Ukraine.

In a separate post, which is in the process of being acquired by Sony, the company said it is working to suspend all sales and distribution of the game in Russia and Belarus. New purchases are on hold in those countries, but players can still access already-purchased content or download the free version. There is also a free in-game.

SIE is the latest company to stop sales in Russia. All new sales of Microsoft products and services in the country have been suspended by Microsoft. The Russian Nintendo website has been put in maintenance mode because of the recent world events.
