The leadership in Moscow live in their own reality, according to the Foreign Minister of Ukraine.

Russia's foreign minister denied that Russian forces had targeted civilians by bombing a children's hospital and maternity ward on Wednesday, leading to the deaths of three people including a child.

When asked how Russia could justify such an act, Lavrov said that it was not the first time they had shouted in response to atrocities.

The Russian foreign minister presented no evidence for this claim, nor did he elaborate on how he knew about the hospital being held by Ukrainian forces.

Despite photographic evidence to the contrary, pregnant women were taken away from the hospital days ago.

According to Kuleba, Moscow believed its own claims about the hospital.

I can confirm that the Russian leadership live in their own reality. He told me that the pictures of pregnant women being taken from under the rubble of the maternity house are fake, that the Russian military was absolutely sure that the maternity house was a military target, and that they hit it in the middle of the night.

Talks between Russia and Ukraine's foreign ministers in Turkey on Thursday ended in failure, with no progress made on establishing a cease-fire or safe passage for civilians trying to flee the besieged city of Mariupol. The 1.5 hours of talks between Kuleba and Lavrov were short.

Kuleba told a press conference that the talks were both easy and difficult.

He said that he did his best to find a diplomatic solution to the humanitarian tragedy unfolding on the battle ground and in the besieged cities.

Kuleba said that no progress had been made on the proposal for a 24 hour ceasefire and the establishment of a humanitarian corridor to and from Mariupol.
