There is still a lot of gossip about who is moving where, even though the January transfer window is closed. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest gossip and deals.

TOP STORY: Man United planning Lewandowski move?

Sky Sports Deutschland reports that Manchester United are interested in signing Robert Lewandowski this summer.

The Poland international scored a hat trick in the first 23 minutes of the second leg against Salzburg, showing how lethal he can be.

With contract extension talks on hold, the Red United could look to take advantage of his current deal, which ends in the summer of 2023.

The report gives two reasons why the club is not giving an extension to the player.

The release clause in the region of 60 million to 70 million for Erling Haaland is something that the front office is interested in. The second factor is that Lewandowski is one of the highest earning players in the league.

It's not clear what the 33-year-old would ask for in an extension and what the club would be willing to offer, especially with their financial constraints due to the ongoing impacts of the coronaviruses.

The report says that the club will look to work on an extension in the spring. Man United will be watching how things develop as they desperately look for a forward to lead their line in the 2022-23 season.

PAPER GOSSIP

According to Diario Sport, Paris Saint-Germain are keeping an eye on the situation of Barcelona centre-back Ronald Araujo, with other teams looking into signing him.

If he doesn't sign an extension, Barcelona could have to sell him in the summer of 2023. The first offer was for a net sum of 3 million dollars per season, which would keep him out of the squad. The offer has been raised.

Calciomercato is reporting that the Bundesliga giants could face competition from the Italians if they sign Ryan Gravenberch.

When bonuses are taken into account, the club will make a first official offer of just over 25 million dollars. They are asking for more than that sum.

AS is reporting that Adnan Januzaj could join Napoli, despite Real Sociedad being confident of extending his contract.

The Italian club is looking for a replacement for Lorenzo Insigne, who is moving to Toronto FC in MLS, and have reportedly offered Januzaj a more lucrative deal than La Real have so far.

The Bianconeri want to sign Morata permanently for 15 million dollars, but they already spent 20 million dollars on a loan for the 29-year-old.

The Spaniard was first loaned out two years ago and was quoted 35 million dollars. The player stated that he wants to stay at the club.

Calciomercato has compiled a list of six free agent strikers that AC Milan are looking at, with the club likely to spend most of their transfer money on signing Sven Botman and Renato Sanches from Lille.

The report names a number of players, including Torino's Belotti, Napoli's Mertens, and Origi, as well as Eddie Nketiah and Cyle Larin.
