After his private jet made an emergency landing this weekend, former President Donald Trump is raising money for a new plane.
The Trump Save America PAC sent an email on Wednesday titled "Update: Trump Force One", which was about a reveal of a new Trump plane.
After news broke that the former president's plane was forced to make an emergency landing in New Orleans after one of its engines failed, Trump hitched a ride back.
The email urged potential donors to recall how Trump used to travel the country in his own "Trump Force One" before he became the greatest President of all time.
The fundraising email included an animated, looped Gif of a plane taking off, along with the words "Do you want to see President Trump's new plane?"
The message signed by Trump said that his team was building a new brand of Trump Force One.
The construction of this plane has been kept under wraps, but I can't wait to show it to everyone.
Emails to the press office of Trump were not immediately returned.
When Trump was campaigning for president in 2015, his plane was a hot topic. He added the Trump family crest to the plane's pillows and headrests in order to make it his own. The plane was fitted out with a master bedroom with a big-screen entertainment system and a master bath.
The plane, which was sitting unused in upstate New York, was going to get new engines and a new paint job, according to Trump.
