A woman is accusing Jerry Jones of being her biological father.
Jones had a relationship with her mother in the 1990s, which led to her conception, according to Nataly Keomoungkhoun of the Dallas Morning News. She says Jones reached a deal to financially support Cynthia andAlexandra as long as they did not publicly identify that he was their father.
The previous agreement between Jones and her mother is the subject of the lawsuit. She wants a ruling that such agreements are unenforceable in Texas.
Cynthia was estranged from her husband when she met Jones, according to court documents. The parents filed for divorce after their daughter was born.
According to the documents, Cynthia's husband did not have to pay child support after genetic testing determined he was not her father.
Gene and Jones have been married for over 50 years.
If the Davises publicly revealed that Jones was their father, the financial support Jones provided them would be cut off. If there was a violation of their agreement, he could file a lawsuit.
Jones has been in contact with Cynthia, but he has never met her.
It is not clear why she filed the lawsuit now, but the only other time she revealed her father's identity was to get an FBI clearance to work in the White House.
There is a hearing on March 31.
