How much does it cost to buy Hilton Honors points?

All taxes and fees are included in the price of one cent per purchased point. That is before any discounts or bonuses. If you're eligible for the 100% bonus and maxed out the offer, you'll receive a total of 160,000 points at a cost of $800, which is a rate of 0.2 cents per point.

Normally when a promotion on points is offered, it is for either a 100% bonus or 50% discount, so this offer is line with the best deals from the program.

How many Hilton Honors points can you buy?

You can buy up to 80,000 points per account before any bonuses. There are promotions where the cap on how many points you can buy increases, but that is not the case right now.

You could get a lot of points by simply buying points across accounts and then consolidation them, because Hilton lets you combine points at no cost.

Which credit card should you buy Hilton Honors points with?

Points purchases are not counted as hotel purchases for purposes of credit card spending.

If you want to reach a minimum spending requirement, or if you want to maximize your return on everyday spending, I would recommend using a Chase Freedom unlimited credit card.

Is buying Hilton Honors points worth it?

It is possible to buy a huge amount of points with the help of theHiltonHonors points. It's easy to earn elite status with the program, it sells points at a reasonable cost, it has lots of aspirational properties, and it has good redemptions with a fifth night free opportunity. Buying points can be a great deal if you combine those factors.

How many points do you need for a free night at a Hilton?

The program has dynamic award pricing, which is why it doesn't have a published award chart. Depending on the day of the week, time of year, and so on, the cost of a standard free night award can vary.

The awards for free night are usually 10,000 points per night and go up to 95,000 points per night. The Los Cabos costs up to 120,000 points per night, and the Maldives costs up to 150,000 points per night.

Sometimes you will see award costs that are much higher than the amounts. Premium rooms have higher prices because there isn't a standard room available. That is not as good of a use of points.

What is the Hilton Honors fifth night free benefit?

If you have elite status, you will receive a fifth night free on award redemptions. If you can, I would recommend making your award stay for five nights.

What are some good uses of Hilton Honors points?

There are many great hotels where you can redeem your points. There are a few examples based on current pricing.

I value points conservatively, at a rate of at least 0.25 cents per point. The pricing here is in line with how much I value these points, and there are ways to get a lot of outsized value with this promotion.

Does Hilton Honors have blackout dates?

All standard rooms are available for award redemptions. This is about as good of a policy as you will find with any hotel group.
