New York City records show that Donald Trump has restructured his mortgage on Trump Tower.

Federal election records show that the CEO of the San Diego-based bank donated tens of thousands of dollars to Republican campaigns.

Forbes reported Wednesday that the previous $100 million dollar loan on the property had been scheduled to come due in September.

The loan was placed on a debt watch list last September after Wells Fargo, the loan's master servicer, said theOccupancy had dipped to 78.9% from 85.9% at the end of 2020.

Multiple tenants had at that point fallen behind on rent, including the company that manufactured the shoes for Donald Trump. The office of The Trump Organization is located in the skyscraper.

The Trump Organization and the bank did not respond to requests for comment.
