Crybabies wrote a letter to the editor that criticized the U.S. truck convoy.

Ukrainians are fighting for democracy, along with freedom of speech and protest.

Hundreds of truck convoys are expected to pass through Greater Columbus.

How many truck drivers have served in the military, defending our right to protest, even though we disagree with them?

Do I agree with the drivers? They have the right to protest peacefully.

The writer didn't call them white supremacists orNazis, as Trudeau said recently.

There is nothing peaceful about obstructing traffic

Peaceful protest is a hallmark of a citizen's right to protest against actions that he feels are un-American. Protests can be legal if they don't hurt one another and don't damage property.

Despite the fact that they are not physically hurting anyone, the trucker caravans are not a peaceful protest. It is against the law to block a bridge that stops the delivery of millions of dollars of goods and services. Police work, mail delivery, fire stations, emergency vehicles and doctors visits could be affected by thelogging of public roads.

A convoy protesting COVID-19 mandates is near Washington, DC.

Despite the fact that you did not set fires or throw stones, the damage is being done. If I came to your home at night and boarded up all your doors and windows, your blocking traffic and freedom of movement would be the same. I haven't hurt you or burned your home. I made it hard for you to get around.

It is coarse enough without resorting to name-calling.

I was disappointed that Ron Solove called the protesting truck drivers "crybabies" in his letter to the editor.

I don't agree with the truckers on a lot of issues, but they are protesting what they think is government overreach. This is the same as apple pie.

After Canada, the US decided to start their own convoys. What are they protesting?

We shouldn't resort to name-calling when we engage on the issues. Our discourse is coarse.

How to send a letter to The Columbus Dispatch.

'Pray for the Ukrainians and God bless the truckers'

The big-man truck drivers invoked their Constitutional right to a peaceful mask and vaccine mandate protest. I have seen a lot of big women on the highway. Is Mr. Solove against big men?

When you don't understand or support the cause, you should resort to name-calling. Maybe he would like to deliver food to his local grocery store. His neighbors would appreciate the help.

Please pray for the Ukrainians.
