Jon. Hamm wears a tan cardigan sweater and smiles at an NHL All-Star Weekend event.

I have bad news for you if you don't remember the days when Fox ran the X-Men movies. If The New Mutants hadn't been delayed, you could have seen Mad Men and Baby Driver star Jon Hamm wearing the most ridiculous cape in the entire multiverse.

It would have been cool to see the actor in the role of the brilliant, Victorian-era, Mutant-obsessed geneticist in the end of The New Mutants. The director of the film spoke to the actor about making an appearance. In a recent interview with Yahoo Entertainment, he said that he was excited to be considered for the role of New Mutants, because he was a huge comic book fan. Life intervenes when these conversations happen.

The New Mutants had to be re-shoots and delayed due to the Disney acquisition of 20th Century Fox, which resulted in the non-MCU movie being dumped into the murky waters of the Marvel Studios. The New Mutants came out on March 12th, 2020 on the premium cable channel.

The X-men movie franchise wasted some great actors with terrible villain roles, such as Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain. There is no footage of him running around in the villain's cape, which is the biggest crime here.

Your move.
